Complete business suites

Technology should work for you, not the other way around.

I build small businesses one system that runs everything: your website, your customer list, your bookings, your quotes and invoices. One login instead of five subscriptions. Built for you, then handed over.

Three tiers, from $1,995 to build and $199 a month to run. First conversation is free.

You are probably here because one of these sounds familiar

Your website looks dated, or you never got one built.
You pay for four tools that refuse to talk to each other.
You are copying the same information between apps by hand.
Everyone says you should be using AI and nobody says how.

One system. Everything your business runs on.

This is not a website with some add-ons bolted to it. It is one piece of software that does the whole job, and every part already knows about the others. An enquiry from your website becomes a customer record, becomes a quote, becomes a booking, becomes an invoice. Nobody retypes anything.

Your website

A fast, mobile-ready site written to turn visitors into enquiries. Not a brochure nobody reads.

Your customer list

Every lead and customer in one place, with the whole history. Website enquiries land here automatically.

Online booking

Customers book themselves from a page you can share anywhere. It lands on your calendar without the back and forth.

Your pipeline

Every opportunity on one board, from first enquiry to won. You can see what is actually about to land.

Email in one place

Templates that fill in the customer's details for you, and a log of everything that went out, so nothing gets sent twice.

One dashboard

What came in, what is booked, what is owed, what is working. One login, one screen, no spreadsheet.

Need something that is not on this list? Ask anyway. Twenty-seven years of this means the answer is usually yes, and when it is not, I will say so rather than take the work and figure it out later.

How working together goes

Three steps. No surprises, and no invoice you did not see coming.

1

We talk

You tell me what is not working. I ask questions until I understand the business, not just the software. Free, and there is no pitch at the end.

2

I build it

I take your existing site, your services, and your real content, and turn it into a working system. You see it live and click through it before anything goes public.

3

I hand it over and teach you

We go through it together until you can run it without me. You own your domain and your data. Leave whenever you like and take it with you.

What it costs

One price for the build, one price to keep it running. That is the whole structure, and you will see it in writing before I start.

Three founding spots, at about half

I am building my first handful of clients, and I would rather have work I can point to than a bigger invoice. So the next three businesses come in at the founding rate, and in exchange I ask to use the finished result as an example of what I do.

Foundation $1,995 $999 to build, then $199 $99 a month
Operations $3,495 $999 to build, then $299 $99 a month
Complete $4,995 $2,498 to build, then $449 $199 a month

That rate is locked for as long as you stay. It does not go up later, no matter what I charge the client after you.

Ask if a spot is open

What is not included

New features beyond what we agreed, photography, ad management, and anything that starts with "while you are in there." Those get quoted separately so the monthly never quietly grows.

You own it

Your domain, your content, and your customer data are yours. If you ever leave, you take all of it with you, and I will help you move it.

Move up whenever

Start on Foundation and step up to Operations later. You pay the difference in the build, and the monthly moves from there. No rebuild, no starting again.

Add-ons, on top of any tier

Bolted on when you need them, not bundled in so the price looks bigger. Add one at the start or a year later, it makes no difference.

Quoting and invoicing

$895 to add, $49 a month

Line-item quotes with tax and an expiry date. Accepting one turns the lead into a customer. Invoices, part payments, and balances that close themselves out at zero.

Anyone still writing quotes on paper or in a spreadsheet.

Job scheduling

$695 to add, $49 a month

Work bucketed into overdue, today, this week, and upcoming. Crew, price, and address on every job. Recurring work books its own next visit the moment you mark it done.

Anyone running repeat visits who cannot afford to lose one.

Ken Smith Tech Made Simple by Ken Smith

The mark shows several lines converging into one. That is the job: complicated things going in, something simple coming out.

I am Ken Smith

I have spent twenty-seven years working in technology in the financial services industry. In practice that has meant twenty-seven years of translating: explaining to technical people what the business actually needs, and explaining to business people what the technology can actually do. It is careful work, in an industry where getting it wrong is expensive.

Somewhere in there I noticed that the people who get the least help are the ones who need it most. The small business owner. The teacher. The person running something real who does not have an IT department and does not want one.

You are not bad at technology. You are busy. Those are different problems and they need different answers.

If a simpler word exists, I will use it. If a simpler solution exists, I will build that one.

How I work

Yes, I use AI. That is rather the point.

I use AI tooling heavily, and I am not shy about it. It is why one person can build in a couple of weeks what an agency quotes three months for, and why this costs $1,995 instead of $8,000.

What it does not mean is that you get something generic. I decide what your business needs, I review every line, and I test it before you ever see it. The AI makes me faster. It does not make the decisions, and it never talks to your customers without me reading it first.

If you would rather I did not use it, say so and I will quote you the other way. It will cost more and take longer, and I will tell you honestly that I do not think you are better off.

Tell me what you are wrestling with

Describe it however it makes sense to you. You do not need the right words for it, that is my job. I read every message myself and I reply within one business day.
